Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural response to stress but when it becomes chronic it can interfere with daily life. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health condition. Symptoms can include excessive worry, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, and physical symptoms such as sweating or trembling. Anxiety can also lead to avoidance behaviors and social isolation. Fortunately, anxiety disorders are highly treatable with therapy and/or medication. CBT is a common and effective treatment for anxiety that helps individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns and develop coping skills to manage anxiety symptoms.
